SPOILERS: Survivor 9, Week 7
Posted by Rick Jessup, October 28 03:31 PM

OVERALL: 14-3
BOOT: 5-1
IMMUNITY: 5-1
REWARD: 4-1

Sorry about last week - I made my picks early in the week and was right on all accounts, but forgot to post them before I took off to watch the show. Oops. Bad me if anyone's actually reading this anymore. This week I have no forgotten...

REWARD
Looks like a running match here, which is probably preceded by some form of obstacle course. How novel. I think the challenge planners are getting just a little bit lazy this season, no? All we see is Eliza crossing the finish line, Sarge sitting it out, and then happy Ami and crying Scout. What's one to make of this? Scout could be crying tears of happiness, and coupled with Ami's gleeful expression I'm inclined to think Yasur wins Reward this week. The reward? Could be food, or it could be communication from home, which would explain Scout's crying.

IMMUNITY
It wouldn't be Survivor without some kind of slingshot competition, would it? I have no logic behind my pick to win this except for the age-old confidence in my boot pick that makes this one easy. Yasur wins a second one.

BOOT
Even a tribe switch-up can't dissuade these slapnuts from continuing to vote off the young and strong. John is a victim of circumstance - that being a combination of youth and laziness.

I still read it!
