Uncensored 'Family Guy' On the Way
Posted by Rick Jessup, October 26 09:24 AM

Fans of 'Family Guy' take note - a new DVD collection is hitting stores December 14th and contains the uncensored favourite episodes of series creator Seth MacFarlane. Titled 'Family Guy - The Freakin' Sweet Collection' the set will contain the uncensored version of 'Road to Rhode Island', an episode that appeared cut on the first and second season DVD set. A segment from the original airing shows Osama bin Laden sneaking weapons onto an airplane while whistling as he walks through the metal detectors. The show had aired a full two years prior to the events of September 11th, but was cut by Fox regardless.

The set will feature this segment included back in as well as a commentary by MacFarlane and two characters from the show, Stewie and Brian. The collection will also be used to promote MacFarlane's upcoming 'American Dad', promoted as being "centered on an overzealous CIA worker who is head of an odd household that includes a space alien and a goldfish that speaks German." The set can be pre-ordered at Amazon.ca or Amazon.com.
