Canadian Fans to Lose 'WWE Raw' on TSN?

With the announcement that 'Monday Night Football' is going to ESPN in 2006 the Globe and Mail has printed a story on the possible ramifications for TSN's WWE coverage. With ESPN as a minority owner of TSN (Canada's ESPN) it appears TSN has the inside track on their choice of the 'Sunday Night Football' or 'Monday Night Football' shows, soon to appear in the United States on NBC and ESPN respectively. Currently, Sunday NFL football on TSN draws in the area of the 350,000 viewers drawn Monday nights by 'WWE Raw'. Because NBC is available in almost every Canadian home with television, it is likely TSN would opt for the Monday games, leaving 'WWE Raw' without a home. It is expected Rogers Sportsnet would likely pick up the program if this likely scenario was to play out.
