On Again Off Again 'The Goonies 2' On Again

It just might be a done deal again - my pick for the best movie of all time (yes, I'm serious) 'The Goonies' is scheduled to have a sequel next year. 'The Goonies 2' will feature returning cast members Sean Astin (Mikey), Josh Brolin (Brand), Jeff Cohen (Chunk), Corey Feldman (Mouth), Kerry Green (Andy), Martha Plimpton (Stef), and Jonathan Ke Quan (Data) and Alex Kurtzman may be on board to write. His previous writing credits date way back to the video game version of 'The Goonies 2' and include 'Alias', as well as the upcoming 'Mission: Impossible III'. The film, as previously reported, would see the original Goonies assist their children on another adventure.

Chunk is skinny now! So unless they cast some fat kid as his son you may be out of luck.

Still, I demand you drive back from Milwaukee for opening night to watch this with me. Do it. DO IT....
