Reporter: How are you today, Mathew?
Mathew: I am doing great!
Reporter: Alright, let's get this interview started!

GM Questions

Reporter: What outcome do you expect for your team this year and are we going to see a big trade from Anaheim?
Mathew: I see myself probably chasing the last playoff spot in the West and expect to see a big trade from Anaheim soon.

Reporter: Which club(s) are your rivals?
Mathew: 1. Phoenix 2. Los Angeles 3. San Jose

Reporter: That was a big move getting rid of Nik Antropov; why did you get rid of him and how do you think the newcomers Marcel Hossa and Mathieu Biron will do on your team?
Mathew: I needed more scoring and more defence. I had too many guys at centre and Nik Antropov offered the most interest for me to make a good trade to benefit my team. So far Marcel Hossa and Mathieu Biron are doing better than expected for me and I think it was a really good trade on my part.

Reporter: How many years/months have you been in this league? Where do you think your club will be in the next 2-5 years?
Mathew: I've been in the league for two years and I see my club a Cup contender for years to come.

Reporter: Who do you believe is or is going to be your franchise player?
Mathew: I think my franchise player is going to be Tomas Kurka, but right now it has to be Henrik Zetterberg.

Reporter: Do you think you are a Cup contender? If so, why? If not, what will make you become a contender?
Mathew: I don't think I am a Cup contender but I think it will take two more solid defencemen and a solid scorer.

Reporter: Do you think your team will make the playoffs? If yes, how well do you think they will do, and if not, why?
Mathew: Yeah, I think I can grab one of the last two spots right now, a couple of big trades will probably get me in.

Reporter: Which team(s) do you think are the most underrated and overrated.
Mathew: The team that is overrated is Detroit and the team that is most underrated is Los Angeles.

Reporter: Who has/have been the biggest surprise this year on your team?
Mathew: Tomas Kurka

Mathew: When I am offering trades, I am sitting in my chair in the nude.
