Quentin Tarantino To Helm a New 'Friday the 13th'?
Posted by Rick Jessup, March 9 09:11 AM

This one is interesting. Filmforce is reporting that famed writer/director Quentin Tarantino is currently in talks with New Line Cinema to get in the Director's chair for a new installment in the popular, but floundering, 'Friday the 13th' movie series. The hope is to pair up with Paramount Pictures and create a quickly shot and produced film. Where does this put the rumoured second film in the 'Jason vs. Freddy' series? Last week the project was shelved, with rumours circulating that a just-as-unlikely Director is looking to get behind the camera on a new, darker 'Nightmare On Elm Street' film.
