Tom DeSanto’s screen story has been submitted to Dreamworks for the new ‘Transformers’ feature film, and two ‘Alias’ writers have now been brought on to script it. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who recently signed a two-year deal with Dreamworks, will be tasked with writing the live action version of the popular 80s cartoon.

Tarantino Nixes ‘Friday the 13th’
A quick note in response to our previous story about Quentin Tarantino helming a new ‘Friday the 13th’ installment – it appears to be untrue. Tarantino noted at the Empire Awards that, while New Line had discussed it with him, he had decided against it.

Wayne Newton Joins Cast of ‘Johnny Bravo’
I may be the only one but I’m practically peeing myself with excitement over the fact that ‘Johnny Bravo’ is coming to theatres, starring The Rock as Johnny. In the same interview mentioned in the previous entry The Rock also made the announcement that he had personally convinced Vegas star Wayne Newton to join the cast as Johnny’s father. It’s like The Rock has been reading my diary.
