It’s been one day off six months since we reported about the new Spike TV series that saw William Shatner “joe schmo” an entire town. The series, filmed in the fictional birthplace of Captain Kirk – Riverside, Iowa – told the town a film crew was filming an independent movie. In reality, a team of actors was running a rather elaborate skit, playing a trick on the residents of the town. ‘Invasion Iowa’ debuts tonight at 9PM on Spike, running every night at 9PM for the following three days, and concluding their run on April Fool’s Day.
