Fox continues to stop short of cancelling last season’s cult hit, but low rated, drama ‘Tru Calling’. Airing Thursday nights last year the show drew an average 4,550,000 viewers – small by primetime drama standards – but found resurgence with the arrival of Jason Priestley, and apparently reasonable sales for their first season DVD. A second season had been ordered, but was later cut from a 13-episode order to only six. The six episodes are finished, and the Vancouver sets have not yet been demolished, but airdates have not been announced, nor even hinted at. The post-‘The OC’ slot fans thought may go to the show has been handed from ‘North Shore’ to ‘Point Pleasant’.
