In some shocking news to fans of TLC’s ‘Trading Spaces’ the network has terminated their relationship with host Paige Davis. The decision is accounted for by yet another “new creative direction” after the switch-up on the show this season failed to see the sagging ratings rise. In a statement released this morning noting the show would go host-less TLC added this would “enable the show to be more spontaneous, focus more on the homeowners and designers, and create alternative home trades in different cities and on opposite coasts.” Don’t cry for Davis, though. The team behind ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, and the same team that made ‘Dr Phil’ a success, are said to be interested in creating a daytime syndicated show for Davis and designer Nate Berkus.
