Turns out the higher ups at CBS do indeed have a heart – they’ve cancelled the John Goodman situation “comedy” ‘Center of the Universe’. The show had raised high hopes at CBS, presumably by those who had not actually watched it. On a sidenote I was given a sneak preview of the show in September in Las Vegas at CBS Television City and how that pilot managed to get picked up is a mystery that haunts me to this very minute.
