Old Man

You’d almost think I was getting middle-aged or something. I went CD shopping last night and came home with:

Two of these albums were released before I was born, and the other is a hits collection of music that’s near that old. But that doesn’t really matter – since nobody seems to be making much worth listening to that’s new anymore I might as well go after the old.

Cheers!

Osbourne Organizes Tsunami Relief Single

Sharon Osbourne has gathered a group of performing friends and family to record a cover of the Eric Clapton song ‘Tears in Heaven’ with proceeds to assist those devastated by the tsunami in Asia. Andrea Bocelli, Phil Collins, Elton John, Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne, and Rod Stewart will all lend their vocals to the former tribute for Clapton’s four-year-old son who died in 1991 after falling from a window. On an interesting sidenote 2005 is the 20th anniversary of ‘We Are the World’, yet nobody has stepped forward to arrange an anniversary version for tsunami relief purposes, something I personally find quite curious. A ‘We Are the World’ DVD will be released Friday, January 28th.
