Friday, June 23rd was the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life, a 12-hour event to raise money for cancer research. I participated as part of “Team Costa Rica”, so named as the team captain – Sandy Young – had been married last year in Costa Rica, and recently lost a wedding guest to cancer. On our side, the evening was in his memory, and we did our best. This picture represents the camp we were given, with tents, chairs, a table, and plenty of snacks and drinks.
