SPOILERS: Survivor 12, Finale

OVERALL: 51-11
BOOT: 10-2
IMMUNITY: 12-1
EXILE: 11-4
REWARD: 18-4

Won’t know if Thursday’s boot pick is right until the early moments of tonight, but I enter the finale at 51-11. For reference I was 24-11 going into the finale of ‘Survivor: Guatemala’ (29-11 after) and 37-3 this time last year going into the finale of ‘Survivor: Palau (42-3 after).

BOOT (PRIOR EPISODE)
I’ll stick with Cirie losing to Danielle’s fire – I shall not be swayed by visual evidence of a roaring fire on Cirie’s side.
IMMUNITY I
We see a challenge involving climbing a wall, and are shown Aras and Terry taking part. Obviously someone else is involved in this challenge somewhere, that person being Danielle in my version of the story. We’ve seen similar challenges where players have retrieved steps to a ladder in the earlier parts of a challenge, and this time it seems to be wooden pegs to assist in scaling the wall. I’ll assume Danielle is far behind, not well ahead. We see Aras well ahead of Terry, and although he slips, he’s still got some headway. Aras takes the final three immunity, and a guaranteed spot in the end.
BOOT
Aras wisely takes Danielle, ousting Terry. Beating the girl that laid around should be easier than beating the juggernaut.
THE VOTE
I’ve got no reason to expect Aras doesn’t stand a strong chance at a 9-0 win here. Who’d vote for Danielle? Maybe Bruce, and perhaps Sally in a show of female solidarity. But it’s more likely Courtney’s venom has spread to Sally, leaving a 9-0 victory. Either way, smart money ain’t on Danielle.
