Missed posting the picks last week, but I made them on the online pool. On to this week..
REWARD
Some online spoilers are claiming this is a food reward but I’m not convinced. We see a shovel, and presumably the winning team can build a latrine. If there’s food involved it’s in addition to this. We’re also told by CBS that one tribe member “contaminates a prized possession”, but to be honest I have no idea what that refers to. I do know our teaser ads show Dan very, very upset and disappointed, so I’m going with a Casaya win here.
EXILE
I imagine they might as well continue allowing the winning tribe to exile someone of their choice, and Casaya seemed legitimately broken up over their decision on Bruce last week. After Terry’s showing at the reward challenge last week – and one might assume another good showing today – I’ll pick Terry to be the one spending time on Exile Island. Now, CBS web clues indicate someone “thrives” on the island. I think this is where the food comes in – I think Terry will successfully acquire edible goods, and bring them back to the tribe to secure his place even more.
IMMUNITY
I have reason to suspect that La Mina is going to have a rough go of it, and for no other reason, I pick Casaya to win again. The web teaser tells us this is the closest challenge yet, so at least it’ll be fun.
BOOT
I’m tossed between Ruth Marie and Sally. Both find themselves on the outside of a core alliance between the guys. I imagine neither is going to make it past the next two TCs, but which one goes this week is a difficult one. I’m going with Ruth Marie solely because she was on the targets last week, and is already noted as all but useless. At least Sally can help out a bit.
