Film star Michelle Rodriguez, who had made a cameo during the season finale of ABC’s ‘Lost’, has officially joined the cast for their second season. She will reprise the character of Ana-Lucia Cortez, a girl who had spent a brief amount of time with Jack (Matthew Fox) at the airport prior to taking her seat on the tail end of the plane for the flight. As fans of the show know the plane split in two with the show revolving around the miraculous survival of the passengers from the front half of Oceanic Flight 815. It would appear the second season may contain the discovery of more survivors from the same flight. Rodriguez’s film projects include the acclaimed ‘Girlfight’, as well as ‘Blue Crush’, ‘The Fast and the Furious’, and ‘S.W.A.T.’.
