At least Shannen Doherty won’t have to cry alone now as a whirlwind of firings/quittings/terminations are running through the newly announced fall TV pilots. Fox’s ‘Head Cases’ will no longer feature Rachael Leigh Cook aside Chris O’Donnell, and ‘The Loop’ will no longer co-star Becki Newton. NBC’s ‘E-Ring’, starring Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper, has lost Sarah Clarke (Hopper’s first season ’24’ co-star) and Leonor Varela, with both roles being “reconceived”. Laura San Giacomo has left WB’s ‘Related’, and Sara Foster is off UPN’s ‘South Beach’.
