ABC’s adaption of BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – ‘Dancing With the Stars’ – will premiere Wednesday, June 1st with six “celebrities” teaming with ballroom dancing professionals in an ‘American Idol’-style talent competition, complete with home voting. On Tuesday the network announced the stars that will take part: Former boxer Evander Holyfield, model Rachel Hunter, former New Kid Joey McIntyre, ‘General Hospital’ star Kelly Monaco, ‘Seinfeld’ star John O’Hurley, and ex-‘Bachelorette’ Trista (Rehn) Sutter. They will be teamed with pro dancers Louis van Amstel (Sutter), Jonathan Roberts (Hunter), Edyta Sliwinska (Holyfield), Ashly Delgrosso (McIntyre), Charlotte Jorgensen (O’Hurley) and Alec Mazo (Monaco).
