The previously reported ‘American Idol’ expose by ABC’s ‘Primetime Live’ has an airdate – 30 minutes after the ‘American Idol’ results show on Wednesday, May 4th at 10PM. John Quinones will take an hour to “explore explosive claims about behind-the-scenes activities at ‘American Idol,'” previously reported as relationships between judges and contestants. One rumour making the rounds comes courtesy of season two contestant Corey Clark, who was cast out of the show when The Smoking Gun revealed a previous arrest for hitting his sister and resisting arrest. He is currently shopping a biography that features “news” he had a secret affair with Paula Abdul during his tenure on the show, and claims that Justin Guarini had done the same. Clark claims Abdul had promised to pay his expenses and offered $2,000,000 towards his pop career as long as he kept their relationship a secret. One assumes the cheque never arrived.
