Debra Swaim is lucky to be alive, and she credits NBC’s ‘Fear Factor’ with her extended time on earth. During a flash flood earlier this year Swaim’s car went into a river and began to sink. Remembering a similar stunt during an episode of the popular reality show, Swaim remembered to roll down her windows rather than go with her initial instinct of attempting to open the car door. “I knew I’ve got to go through my window”, remarked Swaim. “That has everything to do with me watching ‘Fear Factor’.”
