A dose of unfortunate reality has stopped production on ABC’s reality show ‘Wife Swap’. The show, which sees two wives/mothers exchange lives, was filming in Nashville when it was discovered the 38-year-old father of one family had punched his 13-year-old daughter in the face. Cameras did not catch the abuse, but injuries were obvious when the crew returned to film. The girl informed the producers that she had been hit repeatedly for not wearing her coat, at which point the crew immediately took her to a doctor, and then to the Saint Thomas Hospital for x-rays. Yanni Panagiotakis was arrested and charged with domestic assault, then freed on $1,000 bail. ABC has indicated the show will not be completed, nor will it air in any way.
