After near two years of discussion it seems Lena Olin will finally reprise her role as Sydney’s mother, Irina Derevko, on the popular ABC drama ‘Alias’. After keeping her role limited to Trillian messenger on the third season of the show the creators finally tired and killed Derevko off during the off-season, informing the viewing audience and Syd that her father, Jack Bristow, had been responsible for having her killed. Why? To cancel a hit Derevko had apparently placed on her daughter. Olin will reprise her role on the May 25th 90-minute season finale of ‘Alias’. Bradley Cooper, who played Will Tippin until the end of the second season (and who made a brief appearance in season three), is also scheduled to return before the end of this year.
