If you’re one of many who were excited by the DVD arrivals of ‘G.I. Joe’ and ‘Transformers’ you’ll probably get pretty excited by this. Entertainment Rights Plc of the United Kingdom has purchased the rights to the original ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’ cartoon for issue on region 1 DVDs, meaning North America. No release dates yet but it is relatively positive the first season will surface in 2005. Let’s just hope that, unlike ‘G.I. Joe’ and ‘Transformers’ we won’t be expected to spend $90 for half a season.
