The hilarious 1930s anti-drug propaganda film ‘Reefer Madness‘, recently an off-broadway play in Los Angeles and New York, is being brought to the small screen as a TV movie on Showtime. It will be written by Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney and directed by Andy Fickman, the same team responsible for the musical. The cult classic film, as noted on the video box, “shows in a fun and comical way how marijuana is ‘public enemy #1’. With just a little toke, average teenagers become addicts turning into psycho killers and brazen hussies.”
