Crap. CBS is moving Cupid to Tuesdays at 9PM, out of the current Wednesdays at 10PM. Which sucks because I get to add that to my already WAY too busy night of TV:
7:30 – 8:00 Canadian Idol
8:00 – 9:00 American Juniors & Dog Eat Dog
9:00 – 10:00 Last Comic Standing & Big Brother 4
Granted, only two more episodes of Last Comic Standing, but still. Big Brother 4 is wearing out its welcome with me, though – anyone finding this year’s cast absent of enough redeeming qualities to make them worth rooting for?

Well, it’s like American Idol kinda – the good part is probably done. The “auditions” were hilarious, but now it’s just going to be another stupid dating show I think. The only difference is the viewers pick who goes, not her.

I never did watch American Idol but must admit I am hooked to the Canadian one. Out of the 10 finalists, is there anyone you favour at this point?
Not really one, no. My favourites are:
1. Mikey Bustos
2. Jenny Gear
3. Karen-Lee Batten
4. Audrey de Montigny
5. Ryan Malcolm *
The * meaning he’d have to win the Wildcard show this week to even be in the competition.

Mikey – is good. Jenny – is different. Karen-Lee – is boring. Audrey – is mais oui! Ryan – is he that sick guy?
Ryan was the guy this week that looked kind of like a 1950’s singer, talked about having a band with his Dad and brother.
I like Jenny BECAUSE she’s different. ;)

I really liked Mikey’s first performance but didn’t at all enjoy his “sometimes when we touch” song, so that sort of turned me off. I was sad when the Cowboy didn’t make it (I love Cowboys LOL)
Anyway, so far my choices are:
1. Audrey de Montigny
2. Billy Klippert
For amazing voice alone, I like Candida and for attitude alone, I like Gary Beals.
I’d like to see Billy Klippert do something other than a power ballad – the only reason he’s not on my list is I’m unsure of his abilities beyond a very small genre.
Gary Beals reminds me of the skit from Amazon Women On the Moon about the Black Man Who Lost His Soul. Hehe.. anyone else remember that? :)

LOL No, I’ve never heard of that. I just loved his laugh and silliness. He always got real excited but in a childlike way, he makes me smile.
It’s funny you say that about Billy, I loved his voice when the song was “slow” but when it got powerful it didn’t sounds as good, still good but not as good. He has a wonderful voice for a ballad. It will be interesting to see him sing something else. I suppose we could say that about anyone though huh? I mean, some may sing awesome for one song and then given another style may suck. I’m looking forward to this :)
Wee, Canadian Idol. In Germany it’s called SuperStar. We also had BB4 lately, and I really hope the next round won’t be too soon. The candidates are just more and more boring, because they do not accept just real normal people anymore. I don’t like those exaggerated types of people.
