Just a quick post to clear up some questions pertaining to the Blogathon I’ve received over the weekend, and one quick shout-out:
* Thanks to Rob for being the first to throw a pledge in!
* Neither myself nor Blogathon see any money, nor do we handle it. You simply pledge your donation to the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal now through the link under the Zonk, and upon my successful completion of the event, you will be provided information to donate directly to the charity.
* All donations can be used towards taxes as you aren’t receiving a gift in return, simply request a receipt upon your payment.
* And most importantly, please resolve any questions about the charity with me or by visiting their website – www.redshield.ca. I picked them because of their non-denominational nature, and their reputation for assistance to those that need it most. The first people at Ground Zero on 9/11 after the firefighters were the Salvation Army.
