I’ve got some spoiler-free and spoiler-full 24 news for fans, and I know there are quite a few of you here:
* The series is nominated for a Best Drama Emmy, and Kiefer Sutherland is up for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series.
* Series 3 returns Tuesday, October 28th @ 9PM EST. It will be preceded by a four-minute teaser commercial airing both during a FOX airing of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” on September 7th, but also in movie theatres starting in October.
* Once again, the season premiere will air commercial free with Ford picking up the tab and running extended commercials to start and end the show.
* The show will be set 3 years after the season 2 finale.
… and now for the spoiler-ish material .. only click if you want to know a little bit about the fates of those involved in the final episode of Season 2 …

* Jack will be back at CTU alongside his daughter Kim and a new unnamed partner.
* Dennis Haysbert, aka President David Palmer, has signed back on and, presumably, is not dead. It’s a safe bet the show will revolve around a re-election bid due to the aforementioned 3 year timeline.
