1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
Definitely Batman. My grandparents had given me a huge Batman Anthology book as a kid, it was a giant purple one with pictures of all the comic covers and the actual comics inside. I’d read it from front to back and then start again for years. I liked Batman specifically because he wasn’t full of superpowers with the ability to fly or anything like that, he was simply a guy that was in really good shape and, therefore, seemed more human to me. I absolutely abhorred Robin, though. Batman’s very existence was based around being a creature of the night with the ability to silently creep upon the baddies, and suddenly Neon Boy is following him around. That REALLY got on my nerves.

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
Probably a Commodore 64, I guess. I’d wanted a computer for so long because I used to get to play games with Kip and Rob, who both had one. LOAD”$”,8,1 Oh yeah, baby. But my family never saw fit to bring one into the house, although I did have somebody’s old Vic 20 at one point, complete with games on audio cassette and Adventureland:

You are in front of a lake, what would you like to do?
You can’t swim, you’re fully dressed.
You can’t take off clothes, you have a backpack on.
I do not understand this request.
Your backpack is removed. You are in front of a lake, what would you like to do?

3. What’s the furthest from home you’ve been?
New Zealand.

4. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t yet?

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Clean the house and watch anything to do with the NHL All-Stars.

It’s Superhero week at!

It’s Superhero week at! I will freely admit that I don’t care for the Superman series of films. I haven’t seen Spiderman. And the Batman series of flicks suck for anyone who was actually a fan of the Batman comic book. I hate Robin and was glad when he died. I was sad when they brought him back. The only thing worse than Robin is Recycled Robin. However, is this not the coolest premise for a film ever – and it’s going to be made!

Batman vs. Superman: “In a script penned by Andrew Kevin Walker (“Seven”), the two superheroes are allies who come to mighty blows over what director Wolfgang Petersen describes as differing philosophies.” (link here)

Ok… coolest… movie… ever… And I’m sorry but Batman would SO kick Superman’s arse. :) Don’t even talk to me about Spiderman, he’s been dancing down there for over 24 hours now, ain’t no way he’s beating up any other superheroes being all poofter-ish and stuff. So help me if they hire that Paul Walker goof from ‘The Fast and the Furious’ to be Batman I’m going to kick my monitor in. I’m telling you, one studio turns a waifish geek like Tobey into a superhero and suddenly everyone is clamoring for the next big Millhouse to be a star.

Oh, and Anna Kournikova has been very, very bad.

Finally, what do you get for the person that already has everything? Why, this book of course.
