Christmas Time Is Here

As much fun as Network Wars is it certainly seems to drain my lifeforce. It was a traditional style event with computers and network games, and we had fun, although it seems people have been enjoying Console Wars a bit more. Lucky for us Guitar Hero 3 for the PS3 wasn’t readily available or I might have had mutiny on my hands. Unfortunately Rodimus Mark didn’t show, so the title of Optimus Mark remains with our resident friend I suppose. For now…
Last night I attended only my second Mobile Monday Toronto event down at the Armoury in Old Fort York where Duncan from Mobifest was the guest speaker. His discussion on made-for-mobile films was interesting, but there seemed to be some angry trolls in the audience intent on tearing down his hard work. Or intent on being heard by a room of executives. Or intent on being morons. Could be any of the above, but beyond these couple characters a good time was had by all, especially me once I found out they served Guinness for only $4. Next month is a camp-style event at a new location with drinks and food provided free of charge – if any of you GTAers have an interest in the mobile world I’d urge you to pencil off December 3rd and plan to join me there.
This week is somewhat short for me seeing as my sister, Kim, has kindly secured me a seat in New Era Cap’s private box in Buffalo this Friday for the Sabres/Leafs game! Hella-fun.. although I still haven’t decided who I’m cheering for.
Now, back to my Christmas music. It is November, after all…
