NBC has fast tracked a new special, expected to air over the summer, titled ‘I’m a Celebrity but I Want to Be a Pop Star’. Based on another popular British series ‘Soap Star/Super Star’ the show is expected to feature B-list celebrities trying their hand at singing after receiving lessons in both vocals and dance, before an audience vote determines their fate.
