BOOT: 16-0
IMMUNITY: 11-2
REWARD: 9-1
EXILE: 1-0
This time in Survivor 9 I was 29-9 with a 12-1 boot record, so things have improved mildly. Survivor 8 I was 35-9 with a 14-0 boot record going in to the finale. I just realized I’ve had one boot wrong in four seasons. Sweet. It’s been fun – but keep in mind, I almost always screw up the finale.
IMMUNITY I
This one is called Tower of Domination, and seems to involve the zipline we see in the previews. The same zipline that Ian, for some reason, seems to be allowing his feet to drag in. You’ll see it there, with Tom tucking his legs up properly and Ian just dragging along. Since it’s unlikely Jenn and Katie will ever win anything with these two around, we’ll go with Tom to continue his good efforts.
BOOT I
Tom, Ian, and Katie stick true – Jennifer is out.
IMMUNITY II
Now is the typical endurance challenge, usually involving some irritating task being done for an exceptionally long period of time. While it was the worst season, IMHO, I still loved the Thailand weird coin holding thing. Anyways, whatever contest it is, I can tell you we know that the first out lasts eight hours, and the second out leaves after 11 hours. I would imagine you can rarely go wrong picking Tom, so let’s do it again.
BOOT II
“A shocking development during the Final Immunity Challenge promises to go down in SURVIVOR history.” So much for alliances – Tom takes Katie, leaving Ian out to dry.
THE VOTE
I’ve got Tom votes from Caryn, Coby, Gregg, Janu, and Stephenie, and Katie votes from Ian and Jennifer. By a margin of 5-2 Tom is the winner of the 10th installment of Survivor.
