REWARD
Two teams of four head out to build the Water Tower in this challenge. Looking at both the TV trailer and the web promo we find out the two teams are Caryn, Gregg, Janu, and Tom on one side; Ian, Jenn, Katie, and Stephenie on the other. The prize is a traditional Palauan feast alongside the chiefs, who will relay stories and engage in some dancing and chanting. The winning team is given away to us by a shot of some black shorts at the feast – the only two to wear black shorts are Gregg and Caryn, both on the same team.
IMMUNITYa
More twists for everyone! The TV trailer reveals that the person who comes in dead last here will be exiled to their own island to live alone, likely only until the next tribal council. The challenge is another endurance one – how long can you stay underwater?
EXILE
In promos we see a gap between players (next to Caryn) that proves those not exiled are Caryn, Gregg, Ian, Katie, Stephenie, and Tom. That leaves Jenn or Janu as our absentee landlords, and I’ll go with Janu to be exiled.
IMMUNITYb
We have to go back two weeks to nail this one. The promo after that episode (the Bobby Jon boot) showed some folks at tribal council, two of them being Tom and Katie. Tom is wearing the Immunity necklace, but Katie isn’t wearing the same clothes she is earlier in shots of tribal council. What that means is that either Katie changes in mid-council or they tried to throw us off with a little advance peek. They’ve done it before, so I’m sticking with Tom to hold immunity.
BOOT
Janu ain’t going to last. She may quit, but we know they go to tribal council, so who knows. Doesn’t really matter – stick a fork in her, she’s done.
