‘American Dad’ Gets A Boost; ‘Arrested’ In Trouble

High ratings in the face of poor reviews have prompted Fox to tinker with the place in their lineup for ‘American Dad’. The adult cartoon by the creator of ‘Family Guy’ saw over 15,000,000 viewers this past Sunday. Originally scheduled in the 9:30PM timeslot following the relaunched ‘Family Guy’ the show will now move to 8:30 between ‘Family Guy’ and ‘The Simpsons’ on Sunday nights, starting May 1st. Where does this leave current 8:30PM slot holder ‘Arrested Development’? The critically acclaimed but low-rated sitcom will see their episode order quickly cut to fill space until the week prior to ‘American Dad’s real launch.
