Magellan is owned by Excite, and allows you to see what others are searching for through an option called Voyeur. Here are some searching tips:

Search for:
  • Green-light logos mean the site is family-oriented.
  • By checking the Rated and Reviewed Only box, you will receive links only from Magellan's list of reviewed sites. Four stars is the highest rating.
  • Click on Review to read about a reviewed site.
  • Use different versions of your search keyword, for example excite, excited, and excitement.
  • Magellan contains special databases, such as the People Finder, RockGuide, and Stellar Sites -- use them!
