Shaz and I met as I was best friend's with her husband Kip growing up. We had somewhat lost touch for quite some time, but eventually met back up at my sister's wedding where I first had a chance to meet her. While we don't get the chance to get together more than a couple times a year, I do very much enjoy spending time with both of them and try to do it whenever the opportunity presents itself. I had the great honour of being an Usher at their wedding - I even got to wear a puffy shirt! It was SO comfortable, and far improved from the tux I had to wear for my wedding. Seriously. I also owe one of the main discussion pieces of my living room to Shaz and Kip - a stone gray Gargoyle that sits perched a top my wall unit - the centrepiece at their wedding. I love it, and just about everyone that comes by notices it.
