In a low-rated summer television series a few shows stand out, and Fox has recognized their 'Hell's Kitchen' reality show as one of them. The completed series featuring top British chef Gordon Ramsay verbally abusing his way to finding the greatest undiscovered chef in the United States found improving ratings throughout its run, including its best ratings for the August 1st finale. There was no mention of when the second series would run, but Fox chief Mike Darnell promised "some twists and turns" to the proven format.
